After 20 years living in London's Notting Hill, and having worked for the BBC Film Unit in Ealing Studios, he has made Devon his home to which he returns after lengthy overseas jobs.
A home in Devon hasn't been a problem for Richard's work. It takes only 2.5 hrs on the train to Paddington station in London. He has used Exeter international airport to travel to locations in Paris, Belfast, Newcastle, Scotland and the Channel Islands. Having accommodation in both London and Bath enables him to be based in these cities thus incuring no extra travel costs for the production companies.
